Sebastian Bach at Crocodile Rock
Allentown, Pa 21st of October 2003
Sebastian Bach at the Crocodile Rock was an amazing Rock Show. One of the legends of Rock history Sebastian is still a truly fantastic performer. I've listened to and enjoyed "Skid Row" music for a lot of years. It's always been been really good rock music. But it just does not compare with seeing Sebastian Bach live and in person! This was my first visit to the Crocodile Rock in Allentown. Nice club with lots of room and great stage set up. It's nice being able to get close to the performers on stage, I got some really good pictures. I didn't realize I had to get a press pass ahead of time for the show. But thanks to Sebastian's tour manager I was given a press pass to take pictures for the first three songs. The show was just out of this world, the high energy of Sebastian on stage and his amazing voice made for an incredible performance! Performing "Skid Row" songs and mixing in songs from his new album "Bring 'Em Bach Alive" . Sebastian on stage is a world in it's own "The Bach Tight 5" Randal X Rawlings & Adam Albright on guitars , Cheeze on bass, & Mark "Bam Bam" McConnell on drums making for annihilating show! Never a dull moment with Sebastian carrying his guitarist around on his shoulders to Sebastian swinging from the ceiling. All the time Rocking the Croc to a crowd that just loved the performance. And what made the show even more special was Sebastian's obvious love for his fans. Reaching out to each and every person on the audience with his song, his voice and his music. I've never seen an audience so entranced with the magic of Sebastian's music.
We accidentally ran into Sebastian before the show and got to talk to him and Get a couple of pictures. My best friend and other member of HomeGrownBands team "MikTre" ( she has had a fantasy of meeting Sebastian Bach since she was a teenager), was ecstatic at being able to talk to him and I got a Picture I guess that's why she grinning from ear to ear. Both before and after the show Sebastian was so friendly and caring to his fans it's no wonder he has such a loyal following.
Derailed started the evening off with a good solid set getting the crowd warmed up and in the rock spirit. Derailed a local band will be playing at the Tourist Inn in Hellam Pa on the 14th of Nov 2003. Check them out their they put on a really good show and have good vocals. Stillframe came on next playing some of their original music like drown, silence and human race off their new CD Stillframe. A high energy band with good talent and strong vocals putting on a really good show. Stillframe will be back at the Crocodile Rock in Allentown on the 6th of Dec also Big Nicks in Philadelphia Nov 7th. Check them out if you get the chance. Hopefully they will come to some central Pa clubs shortly also. Check them out on our HomeGrown Music page for local original music downloads free.
All in all this was one Rock Night to remember and if you missed this show, well sorry 4 you but we had a blast! Thanks again to all the bands and to the tour manager for getting me my camera pass to share some photos with other fans! Also thanks to our waiter Ben and the rest of the Crocodile Rock staff for giving us great service.
